Doing the right thing…
The director at Agility Planning and Design Ltd has examined the risk of modern slavery within its business operations and considers the risks to be low. This assessment is based upon the nature of the business, which is a service operating solely in England.
As a consultancy service provider, Agility Planning and Design Ltd currently does not employ workers. However, when the time comes, we will rigorously check that all of its employees have the right to work in this country and pays at or above the national minimum wage.
The same rigour will be applied to ensuring that any agency workers are similarly checked by their respective employer and that no bonded labour is supplied. Other supply chains of the business provide items for Agility Planning and Design Ltd’s own use:
– Office equipment & stationery
– Legal
– Accounting and professional advisers
– Software and website provider
– Parts and components
– Cleaning materials
All of the above are sourced from within the UK. All suppliers are required to ensure that they comply with the statutory requirements in respect of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, which, in turn, confirms to us that the risk of slavery in our supply chain has been mitigated. Agility Planning and Design Ltd will review this policy on an annual basis.
